2011 Year in Review – Los Angeles: Year 2

We soaked up the sun in Malibu.

Josh and his brother, Jer, ran the LA Marathon in the hail, wind and hard rain!

We got a tour of our church - an old theater on Hollywood Blvd. Here it is from the roof.

Grant got to sit on a fire engine at Fire Safety Day in Burbank.

We visited the Ronald Reagan National Library. Here is Air Force One. We got to walk on it!

Pop and LaLa visited several times.

We hunted Easter eggs out in front of our apartment.

I celebrated my third Mother's Day.

We went to the Magic Castle - an exclusive magic club for top magicians - with our family.

And lived through the "two's." Just keepin' it real here, people.

The boys got schooled in the art of swimming once again.

We went to Comic Con in San Diego.

And I got to meet Seth Green while getting free ice cream!

We went to the Ellen Degeneres Show.

La Jolla Beach was breathtaking...

There was lots of rocking and reading to babies...

We enjoyed our passes to Disneyland...

Josh took me to the Cicada Club - a 30's-40's dance club and restaurant.

We went to the Hollywood Bowl to see John Williams conduct his music. The Hollywood sign is the white sign in the distance.

Josh and Jer went fly fishing in Kings Canyon - one of God's most breathtaking creations.

We ran the Disneyland Half Marathon - my first!

Hudson celebrated his first birthday.

I camped out for 24 hours in Hollywood for free Chick-fil-A for a year. That's my tent in the bottom left corner.

And emerged victorious at 6am the next day.

Grant was Woody for Halloween.

Even Pooh Bear went with us trick or treating.

We celebrated 10 years of marriage with a trip to Mexico.

The boys told Santa what they wished for...

And we celebrated Christmas with Josh's family in Georgia. Home sweet home.
